Dr. Jaydip Rokade & Dr Sandeep Saran bag the prestigious WPSA Education Award
A Historic Milestone for India, Asia, and Veterinary Education! 
We are immensely proud to share that Dr. Jaydip Rokade and Dr. Sandeep Saran of ICAR–Central Avian Research Institute (CARI), Bareilly, India, have been conferred the prestigious World's Poultry Science Association (WPSA) Education Award 2026, carrying a prize of US$15,000, at the XXVII World's Poultry Congress, Toronto, Canada.
A truly historic achievement:
Dr. Jaydip Rokade and Dr Sandeep Saran become the first Asians to receive the prestigious WPSA Education Award. Dr Jaydip Rokade is recognized as the youngest vetenirarian recipient of this award in the history of the World's Poultry Science Association. Both share this prestigious global honour for their outstanding contributions to poultry education, agribusiness, entrepreneurship, policy development, and human resource capacity building.Together, they have transformed poultry education through innovative teaching, digital learning, entrepreneurship development, research, technology commercialization, policy contributions, and outreach that has empowered thousands of students, farmers, women, rural youth, and poultry professionals.
This recognition is not only a proud moment for ICAR-CARI but also for India, Asia, and the global poultry science community.
